... Birds that is!
Only showed up in one picture, but I had several of these beasts trying to attack my Mavic Air.
Evasive maneuvers were called for and employed.
The straight up shot.
On the way down to land they kept after me until I was only about 15 feet up.
I didn't panic, I had plenty of battery left and was willing to keep evading them.

My concern is if the bird came too close and one of the props would come into contact, then the drone motors would shutoff and the drone would fall out of the sky

Birds sometimes fly really close to my mavic but I’ve bever actually had a bird strike.

Some of them little buggers are aggressive!

The larger birds, like hawks, make me more nervous, but I’ve bever had an issue.

Get a flashing light on top of the Mavic. I have one and scare away these large birds when they are around.
