The goggles have a built in fan but not sure if it is intended to prevent fogging or to cool the electronics in the headset....

There is an internal fan for electronics. There is nothing to cool or circulate the air inside for your face/eyes.

The goggles are awesome in every way. There will not be a version 2.0 for a while. They are so packed with features it's nuts.
However I live in Arizona and the goggles do get HOT! They make my face sweat like crazy!

A fan to cool would be nice.

Although in Florida and here I don't think any fan will help

How close do you need to be able
focus on to use these without reading glasess?
I hear you need to focus on the screen which is equivalent to 11 inches from you - elsewhere some say its like its 9 inches from your eyes - which seems very close.
Can anyone confirm for me please? ta.
