Good morning,

I've always been interested in the wireless microphones but there's so many out there to choose from. Mostly I'd be outdoors while flying the Mavic 2 Pro but want to be able to use them on my Sony Camcorder, 360 action camera, also the new Canon R7 I just purchased.
DJI has there DJI Mic Mini...but does it only work with other DJI products and my smart phone? Or would I be able to use them on each piece of video equipment I recently own ?
Thanks in advance !

Not sure about the phone (probably?) BUT they do indeed work with Sony cams just check YouTube for tips.

Philip Bloom has recently published a review of several wireless microphones, including DJI.

Thank you...I watched a couple for the DJI Mic Mini and they mentioned phones and other DJI products like OSMO etc....but nothing else.

I have the DJI mini mics and spec for spec, they are comparable to the DJI Mic 2 except if you need/want 32 bit float. I've tried some of the other off brands and they didn't last very long. I would say for the price, the DJI mini ia the way to go though if you have an older iPhone like me, you will need to buy the lightning adapter to set some of the parameters on your phone through the app. It includes a USB-C adapter.

I'm looking for a wireless set that works across a good number of products...be able to plug the receiver into multiple different camera.
