Thinking of buying a 2 Pro. But want to check the range of a U. K model...

On the FCC vs CE front, what does Australia use (and get from DJI)

I’ve had 2 M2P’s and both have been standard in all ways and have excellent range. Well beyond 8km/5mi.

Not in the UK stock it wont. Only USA has full power FCC levels, rest of the world its CE which is a lot less power.
It will be *way* more than the likes of the MM and MA though.

I had a MA before I got my M2 and the range increase was night and day.
Well ok, have it your way, the spec that I got with my one says it will. Take your pick.

UK related thread and question, but . . .

The specs for Australia list both, not sure if it works in both at various times.
Max Transmission Distance (unobstructed, free of interference) FCC 8000m / CE 5000m.

We are generally CE here in Australia, except for the mini which is apparently FCC for some reason.
Should it matter with occusync though ?

Personally have flown up to 1km away, that's far enough for my flights in general, apart from next desert trip will scout a bit further and perhaps visit some off the beaten path places with the M1P.
I can still see my Firehouse ARCII strobes in very bright daylight, but that's about the limit when down against a very white cloud sky.
M1P is supposedly CE and up to 4km or so.
