Thousands of Geese attack Mavic!

**** pigeons have done that to me before. Scared me half to death with the thought of my precious drone plummeting out of the sky!

They didn't attack you you they just took off like geese do
In large flocks. We have them by the thousands in our delta
and they just fly together.
Cool video though.

I always put a little sarcasm in my titles... Yes geese scare vary easily, I thought my Mavic was gone for sure!

We have thousands around here in South Dakota, in my experience flying around them, they don't scare that easily, They'll waddle away from the drone, some times they fly off though. I've had a close call with a flock of geese once. didn't see them coming from the right and all the sudden a big flock came on my screen, I stopped and hovered because it seemed close, probably wasn't that close because the camera makes things closer than they appear but still spooked me a little.

You got fooled by the narrower angle - they were >100m away and not going towards you at all.

Look at 1:17. They were within feet from the drone.

That doesn't mean they were attacking though. They just stumbled onto the Mavic. Big flock like that probably doesn't make sharp turns.
