for the best experience with your MM you will have to put aside you feelings about Mr Jobs ,i have an ipad and it is the best thing i ever did i use it for both my drones,it is easy to use doesnt drain the controller battery and i use it solely for flying ,i know they cost more than a lot of android devices ,and when i started out flying i begrudged the extra cost myself, and had several android devices, some worked better than others, but in the end what i spent on them altogether could have got me a ipad in the first place

I was the same as you tinker but ended up with an iPad.
I am now like old man mavic & only use it for flying.
The only thing I don’t like with the iPad is the way it handles maps, in my view Android is a lot better when it comes to maps, download map & you have it anytime you want, iPad turn it off or quit Go4 and you lose it.
Someone please tell me I am doing something wrong with me iPad.

Flying a drone safely, and managing cinematography simultaneously is quite difficult without a good tablet or phone to confuse you. I have been using Apple products since I started flying P3s, and have never had a device issue. My poor footage and crashes have all been self induced, with no encouragement from the controller/tablet combo.

I just added an Ipod Mini 2 and definitely prefer it over using my smartphone (iPhone 6S). You can see more and using the touch screen is easier. I haven't had a lot of time to play lately some I'm not sure if over long periods your hands/arms get fatigued. If that happens I have a lanyard I can wear around my neck to take some of the load of my hands.

Tablet Holder

I use the tablet charging cable. It goes from the tablet to the USB socket at the bottom of the controller (port that is visible when you unfold the handles that double as the phone holder)

thanks to all of you for your help, ih ave been in RC for over 40 years, fly heli and planes, this is new for me
thanks agian

that will not work with the MM controller as it only has the micro USB side port
