Touchscreen froze / unresponsive

Out flying my new (4 days old) Mavic when the camera started looking up / down / up... managed to land safely.

Now when I connect my phone to the controller, the screen says [1x] in the center, and the touch screen on my iPhone is unresponsive. Can't press anything.

Shut phone off. Restarted phone. Deleted and reinstalled app. Tried to upload app on my wife's new iPhone. Always the same result. No touchscreen response in app with cable plugged in.

Suggestions?

Sadly, no. I've never heard of this issue before.

Silly suggestion but when you try the app is the Mavic switched on?

Ok. Tried a diff cable. Best guess on my end, given the fact it keeps alternating between "1.0x" and "Digital zoom not avail...". I think there's a fault in the button that zooms. The controller must think it's always pressed to the right.
I found when I hold it left, it automatically / keeps zooming back out.

Good catch...don't hesitate and open a warranty claim.
