Be careful - I tried one like this and observed massive compass errors, I never even took off with it fitted because of them.
It might be fine with your tracker, but it's definitely worth anyone who buys one testing carefully on the ground before getting airborne.
An RF-V16. It caused them even when switched off, so it must be the built in speaker, however other types could I guess also cause issues through their transmissions as well. For me, the only place I can put an RF-V16 without affecting either the front or rear compasses is on a front leg. The sides, half way between the front and back might also work.Which tracker were you using Boris?
