I just took my Mavic Pro on a trip to El Salvador, and had zero issues traveling with it. I flew around San Salvador a bit, and took a few pictures, but nothing big. Mostly, I was taking it with me as I was traveling on to Philly afterwards.

Anyways, I just wanted to let people know that not one person even blinked at the device at the any of the airports I flew through.

I'll be going to Brisbane via Hong Kong, from Manchester, see any problems looming? I've asked a friend who is a flight dispacher at MAN and he doesen't see any. Ok, i'm paranoid...

You will find the regulations in Australia, and especially in Queensland, a lot less **** than the UK.

Get a copy of the NASA app "Can I Fly There". The main rules are in that app and the boundaries of controlled airspace.

In Queensland you are even allowed to fly in National Parks. Cross the border to NSW and it is a different story.

thanks for posting. i am going to El Salvador next week. I really want to take the drone, but im so afraid of being robbed or killed. Maybe ill do a live feed??
