Turn off head tracking

Hi!
Is it possible to use the goggles without any head tracking?
From the manual it seems that for head tracking one have to be in one of the two head tracking modes, but I want to be sure before getting the goggle.

Yes it's possible, head tracking is a feature you have to activate each time you power up goggles.

It's off unless you turn it on (for each flight).

Yes it is possible to turn off. It is located in the pop-up menu by double swiping up or down (I don't remember). I also prefer to keep it off.

Is there a way to turn head tracking off during your flight, when you want to record stable footage or to land? Or once you turn it on, is it stuck on for that entire flight?
I powered off the goggles in mid flight the other day, because I couldn’t get it to stop head tracking. I tried all the options in the head tracking screen
