Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but the Mavic 4 Pro (I have the Creator Combo) has a serious issue with the Normal color mode — it shoots with an extremely high amount of contrast.
It's so excessive that I need to reduce the contrast by -60 or -70 in Premiere Pro to make it usable.
This issue does not occur in D-Log or D-Log M, only in the Normal color profile.
You might say, "Well, just shoot in D-Log then." But what about live streams? Or projects where the Normal profile is actually sufficient or even preferred?

That’s the first issue. Now, on to the second:

When performing a Dutch tilt (rolling the camera on its axis) combined with a pan movement (flying sideways), the controls become inverted when the gimbal angle gets steep.
The right stick starts behaving like the left, and vice versa. This is very dangerous and increases the risk of a crash.

Are any of you experiencing the same problems?
We're in Turkey, and a few of my friends here have confirmed the exact same issues on their units.
If this is widespread, should we write a collective report to DJI?

No such issues with my MP4; so far its been flawless. In extreme sunshine you may need to use an ND filter.

I'm glad I'm a photographer and don't have to know what a Dutch Roll is, how it tastes, or why anyone would want to do such a stunt. I'm having no color issues at all with mine. You need to check all your settings.

The following is not a criticism but what I feel may be happening.

The camera with 180 degrees tilt (upside down view or heading towards an upside down view) will give you the perception of controls being reversed; controls are not actually reversed, only your perception. Its the same as when the drone is flying towards you, stick directions are technically reversed and you need to be able to perceive that.

Having flown RC planes for over five decades helps me not lose perception, where I do all sorts of aerobatics, simpler ones such as inverted flying towards me, away from me, almost skimming the ground, right side up or inverted, flying at around 100-150mph (RC jet planes would easily do twice that speed). I usually don't use any gyros in my pattern planes and they cost heck of a lot more than my MP4. What I'm saying is that one needs mentally train for all those scenarious.

Finally got to test this. Not seeing the roll issue on either of my M4Ps. I rolled the gimbal to both extremes going right and left I stopped a few times for obstacles but never had a change in stick ops. If it did it wouldn't be a show stopper for me. I like the gimbal rotation for pics but not to much on video.

Hello ,
This is "orientation." And no, it's not an orientation issue I'm experiencing. I already own an RC plane and more helicopters. I also fly in 3D. The issue I'm talking about is that when the gimbal is inverted, when I turn it right, it appears to be going left, but it's still going inverted right. This doesn't always happen; it happens sometimes. But that's not the problem either; inverting the gimbal isn't a feature I'll use much. The real problem, in my opinion, is the excessive contrast.
