UK - new Mavic Mini Batteries selling for just £35

I decided to get another spare battery for my mini and came across a company selling them for just £35 each, with free shipping on orders over £50.

So yeah it's a pretty good deal and I ended up ordering 2 for the "saving" I'd make on shipping.

Let us know how it goes when you've tested them. I may be tempted but already have 3. I believe the Mini 2 batteries will work in the Mini 1 as well so going obsolete shouldn't be a problem.

I was convinced the new ones work in the old Mini but the old batteries won't even fit into the new one. ? ? ? ?
I got my Bus pass yesterday so that would explain it if I'm wrong!

Remember reading the Mini 1 will fit the 2 but Mini 2 not in the one.
Yeah I know that sounds strange. Mini 2 is longer.

its basically, that the case on the new Mini 2 batteries is shaped differently from the MM batteries so that they cant fit in the original mm
they are also lighter than the MM batteries ,and use different cells

Update - they arrived this morning, two boxed and sealed DJI batteries. They charged fine and I've run one for a 25 min hover indoors without issue.

So yeah seem like a bargain unless there is a general price drop on the horizon...

I’m so glad I checked this out on here before I ever thought of buying the mini 2 battery for the mini 1 drone.[emoji106]
I had a feeling they would not work.

Just checked with Ash.
Yes I had it the wrong way around.
Also the Mini 2 are LIPO so don't store fully charged.
