Hi Experts,
I could not get the controller charging by using the charger plugged in the micro usb to the side of the controller. No charging lights, nothing happened. Any idea? Thanks!

Just had the same problem with my Mavic pro and I could not identify the problem. I decided to order the U shaped circuit board that has the charging socket on it. I ordered from Ebay and it cost me £14. I fitted it myself and it is not to difficult but you do need to take your time.

When I removed the board and looked under a powerful magnifying glass there was a very tiny amount of damage to the port.

One bit of advise I would give about the controller is to use a magnetic USB cable and leave the male socket permanently in the controller. I have no issues doing this and it saves pressure on the very weak socket.

If it's a Mavic 2 it's still under warranty. Contact DJI.

I tried the magnetic charging cable way but my mavic 2 zoom kept disconnecting when flying. I said to myself...why all of the sudden. It kept disconnecting at every flight.. Then I thought , wow...it all started when I started using the magnetic cable system. I remove the extra strong magnet part the pushes in the side of controller... No disconnection..... I plugged it in the side again....Disconnection city.....so It started doing it to my Autel Evo also.... So, I removed them from all my controllers...better safe than a big sorry....
