Come on people, the drone didn’t make any decision about when to execute RTH or how to execute it. These are both settings that should be considered before take off and adjusted by the pilot for every flight individually. This situation was entirely avoidable and is also entirely pilot error.
One other thing that might have bearing, what was the RTH height set to?
I am not sure if it is taken into consideration by the drone when calculating the RTH low battery threshold, perhaps someone can enlighten me?
