Love the red sand in the outback.
Was part of that the Simpson ?
I recognise the look of the dunes, have been across the SA and NT sections 8 times now, and it's just so addictive.
Last trip in May / June, I took the Mavic, shot a fair bit but very novice flying, had only had it a couple of weeks.

No, the sand was actually on a private cattle/sheep station near Milparinka in NSW "Corner country". Yes I love the Simpson too, I've crossed it 4 times on 3 different routes but don't think I'll be taking the drone in there soonish!
