Looking for advice on for an under water camera that can send live video back to my phone simulator to the DJI camera systems, or faliing that a scrap minic2 that I can rip the camera and transmitter out of and build the system I need.
Any suggestions welcome

Not sure exactly what your trying to do , but you might consider getting the Rescue Jacket to rig the camera with and there fore control where the camera is going .

Is this a dumb idea?

I just ordered a Insta360 One X2 which is waterproof up to 33 feet. I'm thinking about buying these floats and tethering the camera to my MA2 with about 10 feet of fishing line to get some underwater shots out in a lake...has anyone tried it or is it just a bad idea? Thanks, Randy

The underwater PFV world is interesting.

Not sure from the OP whether he wants surface type footage, or to go deep.
If it's deeper stuff you want, there are ROVs on the market.

Some cool drone FPV people doing experimental things . . .
