Im planning a trip overseas and recently purchased an adapter for my electronics.

I had some concerns after it arrived despite it being highly reviewed. Two of the adapter ports did not attach firmly to the main plug. Only the US adapter seemed to fit correctly. I attached some pictures below of how it seemed to best work...

I'd say it's safe but if you're not careful with the cords you'll find your batteries not charged if the cords come out.
These days all of the devices I travel with are multi voltage, so I dont need a voltage converting device like this. It's probably the same for you, and a set of cheap plug adapters will do the job without the expense, power limits, and noisy fans.
