Update help?

Ok so I've not even touched my mavic since before the update and I've not updated the app either. I do have the message to update on the opening screen of the app. So the question is, do I HAVE to do all these new updates or can I leave the updates and ignore the message?

Ok thanks. Will that mean the Mavic has the restrictions unless I update it though? Camera restriction and distance etc?
