Did you even watch both videos?
His drone, purchased internationally and smuggled into the US without paying the tariffs, which he then carelessly dropped and broke on the first day, is still sitting in DJI's receiving facility in TX. It never left the United States. The drone being held in Customs is DJI's property which they were attempting to ship to him to replace his damaged drone.
Until he actually receives it, it isn't his, and DJI is the shipper and still the owner, and in control of the package, and will receive it back when deemed undeliverable, or if DJI simply recalls it!
DJI is responsible for either returning his broken drone and his $165, or getting another Refurb to him some other way. However, paying $165 certainly does not
entitle him to a $2,000 drone, which he pretends he paid $4500 for. He paid $4500 for the broken drone now still in TX, which was smuggled into the U.S.. His RC
Pro 2 controller, 240A charger, and three batteries have already been sent back to him by DJI in TX. Sending the broken drone back will likely follow, along with a $165 refund.
DJI has no legal obligation to replace his drone for $165. It has no Refresh and no warranty. They were doing it as a courtesy. They can now just refund his $165, and send him back his damaged drone, and say, "We tried. Now it's YOUR PROBLEM. Sorry we tried to help!"
