Updated Gestures for Mavic Pro

Last weekend my brother-in-law was showing off all the gesture controls he has for his Mavic Air. Why do you think it is DJI has not updated the gestures functionality in the Mavic Pro other than to entice us to buy a new one?

Demand? I have an Air and have never used and have no interest and I don't think the M2P has it but I could be wrong.
