When an DJI Mini update is available, does it update both the Mini & controller or just the controller?
I have both the bird and controller on when I update.

@PANTHER if you are referring to a firmware update then the drone and RC need to be connected as if you were going to fly ,its a good idea to have a fan blowing some cooling air over the drone during this process to help keep it from overheating
once the update has started then it will generally include the drone RC and in some cases the battery as well ,make sure you have a good internet connection, and just be patient as the update can take some time to download
during the update the light at the rear of the drone will flash different colours and when the RC is being updated the lights on the RC will flash as well ,if the battery had an update then you will need to put any other batteries you have into the drone and update those as well
