Upgrading Phone Today...Recommendations?

I am looking to upgrade my old Galaxy S7. I apologize ahead of time for this question as it has probably been beaten like a dead horse on here, but this stuff seems to change often. My live view on my Mavic Mini is sluggish on this S7 and the app just crashes more than I care for. I hear that DJI apps operate better on IOS but man I still love my Samsung phones. However if you guys recommend it, I will cross the fence and go with an IOS device. Thanks ahead of time for the help. It's a big decision for me and I want to get away from DJI Fly crashing like it is and in general poor performance on the old S7.

I'm using an S8 since getting my Mini a month ago and it's been fine. I'm planning on getting the S20 in the near future.

What's your price range?

I'm totally happy with a Galaxy A70 that I bought from B&H photo for $329. It's a GSM phone that was manufactured for the Latin American market but has worked fine on AT&T here in the States. I have no regrets about the A70 but if I was going to buy today I'd consider the A71 and the Pixel 3aXL as well.

Another happy A70 owner. Love the screen estate and its runs the fly app without any issues.

The only con is that you ll need a phone/tablet mount since it barely fits into the controller (without a case that is).

I have a Samsung Note 9. It's a tight fit in the controller with the car I have on it and I had to get a longer connection cord for it, but the increased screen size is rather nice and I've had zero issues.

My experience has been you love what you have until you try something new.

I thought I could never give up the headphone jack once it was gone never missed it.

I thought I had to have the button with the fingerprint reader Face ID works great. So much better than the button.

wireless charging - the best - no more jamming the cable in Or tussling with the dead cables.

I’ve come to the realization that I use my phone so much I don’t cheap out on it anymore.

Take your stim money and grab an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I promise you you’ll thank me.

If you keep the thing three years it works out to about $1.50 a day. Not even a cup of coffee

And the camera is amazing.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3, i have that. Big screen (6.9"), can fit in controller or you can buy some tablet holder (PGYTECH maybe) if you preffer, no problem any kind with fly app.
