Well, its kinda confusing since the communication cable provided in the box (the one you use to connect to a computer) has a blue USB-a end. However, the port on the RC is black.USB 3 are normally Blue in the Port. You will know if xfer is fast but would assume 2.0
Most manufacturers do not use them though.Edit: What the hell. Heres the symbols for each Standard including 3.1/Thunderbolt
