Looking for a USB-C mic that enables audio recording while I am doing screen recording on RC Pro. I do not care much about the quality of audio, it is for internal voices notes only. Preferably compact, travel-friendly, no-frills, single-piece solution.

Thanks for the links.
I am looking for a non-wireless, non-wired mic, but a mic that directly plugs in to USB-C socket. Audio quality is not important, simplicity is.

Take a look a the Movo X1-Mini (Amazon link). It has both 3.5mm and USB-C connectors. It also has microphone covers that will reduce wind noise when recording outdoors.

You don't need to limit yourself to USB-C only microphones. There are plenty of cheap USB-C to audio adapters on Amazon

Hang on.
I have a DJI RC Pro that came with my Mavic 3T and when screen recording, it has a built in microphone and I am able to make audio notes while screen recording.
I think the microphone is on one side of the data ports on the bottom edge of the remote.
Audio quality isnt great - i am not sure if its the audio bitrate of the screen recording application, or the microphone itself.

- Actually i just checked. AAC Mono 96kbps so audio isnt being recorded at modern CD quality, but still a higher bitrate than we used to call a good music quality mp3 (64kbps per channel) so I am not sure.
It could be the recording program is recording at a higher bitrate than the digital audio stream coming in from the microphone.

Here is a recording of me testing the drone when i first got it to see how the thermal camera worked a couple of days ago at our city new years eve beach party.

I don't know about that. This is from DJI website. Doesn't mention anything about a mic onboard. Maybe Australia gets a different model? Sure would like to see a pic of the bottom of your controller1735830252982.png

Also model number and this came with a mavic 3 enterprise thermal

Ah. I bought mine about 3 years ago. It's a model 510. Yours is 510B. Nor does mine have the 4 small holes. Odd the DJI website doesn't mention the microphone either
