Used Rc n1 controller with mavic 3 pro

Bought a used rcn1 from bestbuy and got it to work with my mavic 3 pro.
Clicked some un binding things to make it work.
I went back and forth switching between between controllers to make sure
everything worked ok but had to bind unbind every time.
I dont have flyaway so that doesnt matter.

I know the aircraft is bound to your account but would a used rcn1 be bound and cause
trouble down the road?

No .. I've been using this combination with two Mavic 3 pros and an original Mavic 3 before that.
It works just fine and gives me a bigger screen than the integrated screens on the other DJI controllers.

I love this setup, Meta4. Those DJI RC controllers with the built-in screen cost a small fortune, yet with the simple expedient of using a trusty old RCN1 controller, one can monitor flights on a notably bigger screen using an iPad.

I fly all my older drones with their controllers connected via 3-foot cables to my iPad which sits on the floor of an opened shoulder bag whose strap is slung round my neck. I get superb shade for excellent visibility on that iPad screen even at midday, and the controller in my hand is not weighed down with the bulk of my iPad.

Here's what i used before my Mavic 3 with the Rc with built in screen. Mavic 2 Pro , I loved it no complaints at all.
RC with built in screen is a let down compared to mini 5 ipad. Only thing i can think of is that using rcn1 may
affect the warranty ( have 100 days left.)
I have to get a good mount now that i know it works.

It won't.
DJI list the RC-N1 as one of the recommended controllers for the Mavic 3 pro.
Look at the specs for things like this:

• Lowest Latency​

• 130 ms (with DJI RC-N1 Remote Controller)
  120 ms (with DJI RC Pro)
  130 ms (with DJI RC)

This is the exact setup I have used for all my drone flying, except for my selecting a 3-foot cable between the RC controller and the iPad which sits perfectly sun-shaded while nestled on the floor of an opened shoulder bag that hangs by its strap at chest-level to allow me a clear view of the unfolding landscape below the bird.
