If you read the thread, I said I use a separate iPad. It's post #5.

I'm constantly getting calls while flying so I use an iPad. If you're looking for a dedicated device, an iPad (even a mini) works pretty well and the bigger screen can be helpful. Just get a cheap tablet holder for your controller on amazon.

I was out yesterday in 25mph wind with my Mini 2 and while careful to fly into wind and home with the wind had no issues. My Samsung on Android is ultra reliable
