Using M2P as a Dumb Camera with Timer?

The title says it all here.

But I did not find this topic after having done a quick search here.

As in a traditional camera, can one set a timer (say 5, 10, 20 seconds) for delay before activating the shutter to take pictures in M2P? Holiday is here now and I want to take a family picture by using the M2P mounting on a tripod (not flying nor using the iPad/controller) without me being in pictures of holding a controller or an iPad. In essence, I want to use it as a dumb camera.

Is this doable or is there some other better approaches?

The original Air and the Spark had gesture control. You make a box with your fingers and it takes a picture.
