Try this, once download is commenced, switch your Mavic off, it’s not needed and will save your battery. Once the firmware has download you will get a pop up message to remind you to power up your mavic

Is that your recommendation if using the DJI Assist 2 app or if updating via DJI Go 4 App?

It doesn't work l;ike that using the crapp, I tried it yesterday, turn mavic off, download stops.

you batteries in both your drone and controller have to be above 50%, make sure its no interference around the drone while its in progress. Personally i do mines straight from the phone, i only had a problem one time with it stopping, i turned everything off disconnected the phone and restarted everything, it started back from where it left off till completion

I was referring to using Go4, it’s all I’ve ever used to update my Mavic. Never needed to install the Assist program
