Found this velcro is perfect for minimizing battery coming off. Bought this in Lowes. It comes in a roll but are die cut into 12 inch lengths. It is narrow enough to go in between the sensors. Make sure it is tight, so it won't slide over the sensors.20181128_165406.jpeg20181128_165415.jpeg1543445625735.jpeg

I like I just understand it.?

If I have to use a $2 strap to keep my battery in my $2000 flying Camera
I'm not going to be a
happy camper.

That being said . Good idea.
Might use it to strap on a Cree light or lanyard
..........or a better Camera ;)
just saying
.......cR

I've checked the latches on all three of my batteries. They're all solid. If they weren't I'd return the battery as defective. I wouldn't Mikey Mouse around with a velcro strap.
I seriously doubt a velcro strap to secure the battery is going to do any harm.

Is this a precaution or have you found the batteries are loose and need secondary security?
Seems strange there’s not some sort of outcry regarding Mavic batteries falling off.

Great idea but I don’t know if I wanna go to those extremes. That’s what a preflight checklist is for.
A simple precaution really. How common is battery coming loose issue and what happens-instant crash because if no juice?

if there was a problem, many would be screaming about this. as the battereys are not cheap. and could be a very easy fiw with a traped machine screw, and metal thread insert. clean neet. and will/should hold even in a crash.

As with anything on the web people that have problems post. Those without problems are quiet. This always makes it appear that problems are more common than they really are. On the other hand I appreciate the heads up such that I can chew aware of a potential problem and ad that to my preflight inspection.
