Veterans will be able to buy from AAFES in 2017

Just read that they are opening shopping at Army Air Force Exchange Service AAFES (online only) to all honorably discharged veterans starting Veteran's Day 2017, about a year from now. Normally the BX is open to only active duty and retirees and the such. But soon it will be open to all veterans prices will be the same as in the store. Only AAFES and not Commissary as those prices are subsidized with your tax $$$. Just an FYI

That's awesome! I've been missing the BX at Langley AFB since I separated in 1998. Thanks for posting that.
