Flying yesterday morning near shoreline. Wind about 10 Knots temps about 28-30 Degrees F. Camera was VERY slow to focus in while attempting to video shoreline. Does temperature have this effect on the video performance? Any way to correct the situation?

I use manual focus, focus to a distant object with good contrast before takeoff. The lens’s hyperfocal distance is within 30 feet, no need to refocus in flight unless you get closer to something while flying.

Thanks for the response. Will try that and re post if problem persists.

Auto or manual exposure? When set to manual exposure the camera sometimes won't focus correctly after power up.

I am currently on auto focus and everything has been fine. Until yesterday. Could cold weather make this happen? Any suggestions?
