Brand new here and new to drones. I want to videotape paddlers in various watercraft like dragonboat and outrigger canoe for video analysis of the stroke motion. Will a 4k 60 fps video be clear in a frame by frame analysis? I bought a DJI flip for this purpose but have not unboxed it, waiting until I understand if the video quality is good enough for the application. Thanks for the help!

Make sure NOT to use any ND filters, which will only create undesired motion blur.
In bright sunlight, the shutter speed of the video at 60fps will be plenty fast enough to freeze the motion of paddlers for frame by frame analysis of stroke motion.

50 strokes per minute would be a really fast rowing pace. 60 FPS = 3600 frames / minute or 72 frames per stroke, more than enough. This would be an excellent tool for teaching, getting different shot angles would be helpful. Looking down vertically would show who's out of step with the other rowers. A low angle shot lookings at the waves and splashes would be helpful also.
Just to clarify, I paddle, I don't row lol. it's a running joke in the paddle community; everyone calls it rowing until we correct them 4 or 5 times 
We regularly paddle 65-75 spm, often reaching into the 90s. I have paddled with a team where we got to 110spm!
Anyway, I tested my motion at home with an iphone set to 4k 60fps. the playback showed some blurriness in the hand motion, but the arm and body motioin was clear enough I think.
Also, is the DJI Flip suitable for tracking a boat from the side view? I read on another forum that it doesn't like to track that way using the RC 2 controller, but I suppose I can do it manually? It's still in the box, so if you have other suggestions for a suitable drone, I am all ears. (I like the blade protection of the Flip, since I am new to this.)
