Hi all Happy new year to every one.
I dont know if any one can help but when videoing during a Yawl the video is jerky
is it some thing that happens or is it {most likely} Operator problem.
Videos taken by every other means are fantastic.

As a possibly related add-on to The Cyborg's post, I have Windows 10 and WIndows 7 on the same laptop. The laptop is, comparatively speaking, old, so hi res video maybe pushing its limits but Windows 10 seems able to play some recordings that Windows 7 can not.
(As a consequence I do not normally shoot hi res video but have occasionally made mistakes.)

Panning (especially at a decent rate) usually produces that jerky movement. In a lot of video production, you don't see that much in the way of panning for a reason unless they are using high frame rates (or so I am told). If you experiment with different turn and frame rates, you will find something you can live with. The jerky playback is a different thing entirely but you would usually get the same result flying forward if that were the case.

An older graphics card can cause it too. Usually though the entire video hesitates, not just during pans.
