Video settings for Facebook?

Hi Guys,,
I've searched through all the threads but can't see anything so I will go ahead and ask here.

I'm new to videography. Been doing photography for many years and use Photoshop for editing.
At the moment I am using PS CC or my video clips.
Can someone tell me what is the best export settings for the different internet mediums, FB, Instagram, YouTube?
So far my uploads to FB have looked like crap.

Do they allow youtube embedding?
I'd use that, or post a still with link to video on a proper video host site.
I expect facebook is only wanting very brief low res clips.
Half decent video needs substantial storage and big bandwidth to play it.
