Video settings or way to show branches

Ive seen some mavic videos where it highlights small branches or other obstacles in red. Is this just a setting or something else?

It's a setting called "focus peaking" -- it shows you what things in the picture are in sharpest focus. You can turn it on/off in the app.

Does this help with HT wires ?
I scout an area a bit before flying to know where overhead wires are, and try and avoid them, but sometimes you can overshoot a bit and get a little too close for liking.

Does this high peak focus threshold affect video / stills footage ?

you should never count on being able to see any wires in FPV flying.

The red won't show up in the videos or stills you are shooting. It's just there in the FPV .

No. It just shows you what's in focus.
