Video Signal Delay between Controller & Drone

Hey all,

I've noticed at times that the video feed between the bird & the controller is delayed by as much as 10 seconds. The video feed will get pixelated, blurry, etc. Oft times after taking off, the video will not reflect the actual movement until the bird is well beyond the ground level. I can also turn the bird right or left, use the gimbal wheel to move it up or down , take a snapshot, etc., and the screen doesn't respond right away as mentioned above. There hasn't been a delay in the drone responding to a directional or altitude movement command from the controller sticks, so no danger of a crash, but it's damned annoying to deal with. I usually have to bring the drone back, turn it & the RC unit off and start the process over again. Of course, it will say "landing" after it's been on the ground for 5 seconds!
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this? ?

check you cable between the controller and you viewing device also it could be that your device is not able to process the info fast enough

Most likely your mobile device not powerful enough or throttling down due to overheating.

If you are using a Tablet turn CACHE mode off. the delay is prob caused by the tablet trying to process the video being sent back to it from Drone?

Ok. Yes have the same problems. About 10-13 sec camera delays to the remote controller.

Need more info about your setup - phone brand and model, flying conditions and environment, etc.

It's a brand new Mavic 2 zoom with smart controller. It has been like this since we started using it. Possibly there is something with the setup. Attaches a picture of our smart controller.

Sorry, I've never owned or used a smart controller. I did notice Status says 'slow SD card' though. Do you cache video to the SC? If so, turn that off or get a faster SD... might contribute to the problem?

Also, a photo of the setup inside, with SC and AC close to each, other won't tell anything. I notice controller and video signals are both 5 bars... are you getting lag under those conditions? A photo of the SC screen while the AC is in the air under the conditions you're getting lag would be much better... or a more detailed description.

External wifi interference might also be something to look at.

Hopefully, an SC owner will come along soon.....
