Is this normal for the Crysytalsky?
Videos taken by my Mavic Air and saved in the internal memory of the CS are macroblocking.
Looking at the same video recorded on the SD card in the Mavic Air is perfect.
This problem is not there when I use my iPhone 6 instead of the Crystalsky.
All firmware is up to date. Changing the video size in settings makes no difference.
I have tried 4 different USB to Ctype cables including USB 3.1
Any help would be appreciated.

Mine is the same, the internal memory is low res I think. If you put the sd card in from the air it plays perfectly. I think it is designed that way and is only supposed to be for quick viewing and allows more footage to be stored in the cache. I stand to be corrected if I’m wrong but I’m sure I read it on another thread on here somewhere.

Thanks for your thoughts. Bit of a pitty if that’s the case. Using my iphone the videos are perfect.
If you come across the other thread I’d appreciate the link.
Thanks again

Thanks heaps for that. Now I understand why it’s happening.

What you are looking at is a dump of the live feed which is low res, strongly encoded and subject to trasnmission interference, perfectly normal.

Could I please push the”friendship” a bit more with another question.
If it is a dump of the live feed, shouldn’t the live feed on the Crystalsky screen also show the same blocking and lag when I am flying.
Also I wonder why when I use my iPhone 6 connected to the Airs RC there is no macroblocking.
Thanks for reading and being patient
