Just a quick one but upon take-off the mini hovers at 4ft, rock solid. Without touching the sticks I notice that the fly app (and Litchi) states the drone has moved from the homepoint by 5ft even though its sitting there motionless.

There are usually at least 14 satellites locked, what do you reckon is causing this?

The explanation is in the nature of consumer GPS.
It is not pinpoint accurate and gives frequently changing location information that is +/- up to 5 metres (but more usually within +/- 2.5 metres.

Although the GPS location information is unstable, the drone maintains stability by using gyro sensors and (if close enough above a suitable surface) it also uses the VPS sensors for position holding.

Hovering Accuracy Range
Vertical: ±0.1 m (with Vision Positioning), ±0.5 m (with GPS Positioning)
Horizontal: ±0.3 m (with Vision Positioning), ±1.5 m (with GPS Positioning)
