Warning Zones in DJI GO4 App mean No-Fly?

In my DJI Geo Fence map there are warning zones that prompt to fly with caution. Do I still have to get permission from some authority (I have the registration under part 101)?

The Geo-zones do not necessarily show where you are legally allowed to fly and should be used as a guide only. You will have to personally determine and follow all regulations that are pertinent to your flight based on each flight location.

The AirMap app and website is pretty decent for showing you no-fly zones.

If you're in an actual NFZ then you won't be able to take off. If you are in a DJI Geo-Zone then follow the instructions in Go4 to unlock it if necessary. You are still required to follow all the rules for hobby flight, so you still have to notify airports within 5 miles, follow other local municipality regulations if any, etc. You can look at DJI's GeoMap HERE.

What country are you in. Makes a BIG difference

In Oz AirMap is useless but the CASA app "Can I Fly There" is good though not perfect.

Wouldn’t also referencing a true sectional chart to see airspace in your Area of Operation work as well

There is no such thing here in Oz.
Just terminal charts.
