If DJI or some other App can automatically show me permitted flying areas. I think I last remember flying when you checked for nearby airports or school zones on your own. If there's an auto-generated map app, I'll add that or check that. Seems like by now that ought to be a thing. : )

Thanks.

It can but it won't be the sole, definitive source. You will need to reply on several other resources as well and you still may not get the entire picture which may not turn out so well if you fly somewhere you should not be flying.

There are many great applications out there, but these are my preferred apps:
  • DJI Fly - Fly aircraft
  • Litchi - Fly Aircraft
  • AirData UAV - Hourly weather for current location, and altitude
  • AirHub Portal - LAANC/B4UFLY, powerlines, congested areas, planning in one application
  • Drone Scanner - Scan area for RID signatures
  • SkyWatch.ai - Drone insurance $10/hr
Enjoy the skies!

also try the app called B4UFLY
B4UFLY is no longer available. Zepriders list above is pretty comprehensive and should meet your needs

Hi everyone! Just wanted to add that AirData just released the US based airspace map + LAANC requests (in partnership with Airbus) today to all subscription levels, including the free plan. Please try it out and let us know how we can improve. Thanks and happy flying!
