I am trying to get one of these 3d printed right now.... Mavic Pro Getterback side saddle mount (with optional flasher) by Jamie-Clay

I wouldn't add the extra weight. The unit straps on tight to the back of either front arm. I mean, really nice and snug. It ain't going anywhere...

Does anyone know the name of the attachment you can attach the the drone when flying over water. It deploys a 100foot line to retrieve your drone. Additionally, has anyone had an experience with this product and is it available from Amazon or another source. Thanks

One thing I can't figure out, most of the lost drones happen over water. They either fly out to far and can't get back or loose connection and the mavic falls into the ocean. I for one will stay over the shoreline.

Ok. I'm getting it printed for free so I'll try it out anyway - - but will probably end up not using the mount.

I thought the same. I got mine for $18 about 3 years ago.
