Good point, I have a waypoint that I run once a month to watch changes in the scenery/trees and I've noticed a little bit more of difference in the view than I expected, most likely because altitude variation.ALL of the information is coded into the waypoint when set. Altitude, heading, gimbal angle and all camera information. I have run many Hyperlapse waypoints and it is pretty close. Just remember, GPS location in comsumer products is nowhere near precise. Neither is the barometer. Mine generally are within 10' in altitude when run on different days.
Wrong post, the OP was asking about waypoint flights not hyperlapse waypoints.@Xitor, unfortunately none of that seems applicable to Hyperlapse waypoints, as they apparently don't include altitude...
