unfortunately this is something that happens with nearly all consumer electronics ,they have a finite lifespan ,i cant get any batteries for my MPP anymore unless i opt for none OEM onesI fully support your comments however, when DJI no longer supply batteries for my Mavic Air I find this a major failure I have a perfect Drone that when the batteries start to fail I will have an expensive paper weight, even part used batteries are difficult to locate and come with obvious risks, so it's not all good news re DJI, if anyone out there is offering Mavic Air batteries for sale please contact me.
it is now over 4 years old ,which is almost a lifetime ,in consumer drone terms ,it still flies as it did when it was new ,and my 4 batteries still hold at least 96% charge with over 200 flights on 3 of them and the 4th one not far behind ,and i know that the day will come when the batteries do eventually give up the ghost that its flying days will be over ,but i have more than had my fair share of enjoyment from it already ,and all the hours of video and pics are always there to look at stored on my external hard drive
