Working on an Air2s. This one was acquired from eBay. Listed as “will not activate”.
So knowing that, I took a chance that someone just didn’t know how to get that done. Aircraft was certainly worth the money spent just for parts if all else failed.
Turns out that according to DJI, this unit was “lost during transport” and has been completely deactivated in their system. DJI isn’t willing to allow activation per a few back and forth chats that was escalated to a senior system employee.
So with that, I’ll remove the effected component and end up with a very close to new flying camera.
After removing the bottom cover, I discovered a little potential flaw. Look closely at this picture and find a bit of a production flaw.
