What is Configuration 1 -2 and 3 in advanced settings on mavic air and which one to use

Mode 2 is the default as it's what most people use, but the other options are there in case that configuration doesn't suit you. I'm left-handed and I like Mode 2 because that's the way I learned but I know some lefties prefer Mode 1. It's down to personal choice which you want to stick with.

Nothing to do with Mode. In Settings , Gimbal, advance settings you can set 3 configurations ( 1 to 3) each configuration having 3 settings 1. Max gimbal pitch speed, 2. Extend Gimbal tilt limit and 3. Gimbal pitch smoothness. The aim is to set up one or all configurations and quickly select the one you want to use for that flight. I have set up Configuration 1 as 1=25, 2=On and 3 = 20. I could set up the other two configurations but not bothered yet as the settings seem ok for what I want.
