What is real life range of Mavic 2 pro

My M2Z is still fine after 4km, I don't go further than that, like to get it back in one piece.

Going farther doesn't cause it to break into pieces...

My range record in the desert (FCC) is 9km out which equals 5.6 miles.
I still had a good signal but had to turn around due to battery which was at 59%.
I landed with 7% battery.

Mine is set at 600 meters max over the bush and have had no issues with signal. On occasion I will loose one bar, but that's it.

Dont understand how there can be so many differences at this case. Poland must be end of the world where even drone signal is worse then in other parts of the world.

First, hello all! New poster here.
Second, furthest I've had my M2P (w/Smart Controller) was 2.41 miles. Still had full signal. I did have a spotter. The only reason I didn't go any further was because the wife reminded me of a prior commitment, so had to turn around.
But, skies were clear, mid-day. Not exactly flat terrain, and plenty of trees. Max altitude was 392ft.

Real life Mavic 2 range? Underwater? About 6 inches! Sad but true!
It all depends upon the environment! 500m in a forest is fantastic!
Unobstructed LOS, however, with FCC range will get you to over 5 miles.
Flying over a forest, from above the forest, will get the trees out of the way.
