Would think this should be posted in the correct section (since it’s Mavic 2 specific question) but a 10 second search will yield....are in the Mavic 2 Controller?
LiPO = LiION polymer battery. Technically a LiPO is a type of LiION. The principal difference is the practical consideration, LiPO can be lighter for equivalent capacity and allow for more flexibility in dimensions with potential for higher discharge current. Charging requirements and voltage discharge profile are substantially similar.Well, I never know they were Li-ion !!
Always thought Lipo.
I just checked specs on DJI site for M1P, M2P, the specs actually don't state type there, only capacity.
The manual states only 2S rechargable battery, and yes when I googled on that, it says Li-ion in results.
Rules for maintaining life of Li-ion are pretty much the same as Lipo, from what I can remember ?

Question regarding controller battery storage
So I have a mavic 2 pro, and have a question is it okay to have the controller battery charged to 80-90% when storing it for a week or two (waiting for better weather to fly)mavicpilots.com
