Where the MP media date and time comes from?

What date and time is assigned to the photo and video files taken by the MP?

Can you set the date and time for the camera?
Or it is getting it from the GPS or from the smartfone's time and can not be set directly in the MP?

Set by mobile device, can't change it.

thank you! so if i need to have it always on GMT, then i need a mobile (android smartphone) that is constantly set to GMT. correct? no way around?

Out of curiosity, I looked in my phone's settings. I can turn off auto time update and set the time zone to London plus turn on 24 hour time display and it will always be GMT. That should work for you.

that is my same, exact plan. dedicated (only for drone) android without SIM card always running on GMT. thank you!
