Where to buy standard batts?

To the OP, I'll insert the battery I received form 102_store on ebay tomorrow and let you know how the RC 2 shows its health and if it triggers RID. I think perhaps it will not.

Copy the AI hallucination. One form I see is if it doesn't know it makes something up. It also told me my truck does not have ABS brakes. I always thought AI was someone believing they are smarter than actual.

No doubt. Since my last post I got some. The battery seller advertised a Mini 4 Pro battery and sent me a Mini 3 which DJI has written:
When using the DJI Mini 3 Flight Battery, the Mini 4 Pro’s propulsion performance and flight time will be reduced, and the total weight will exceed 249 g.
So I wrote the seller a request to make good or refund. I always know I'm rolling dice shopping on ebay. Yet I roll.

Under the current M5P FW and app, there is no battery that will stop RID broadcasting, since DJI decided to force it to broadcast RID with any and all batteries. Hence, there is no way inserting ANY battery can prevent RID.

AI results are no different than googling and reading through the search results to find out which are relevant and valid. When the source of the information is cited, it is easily independently verifiable by going to the source. The fact that it can hallucinate is no different than googled sources that are just plain wrong. It's just a tool, like Wikipedia, where anyone can edit the results and post misinformation. It's as good a place as any to start from.

You need more training gadget guy...
Good luck circumventing RID, now that you know it is not weight based on the Mini 5 Pro! If you think your training is better than the best and the brightest who have tried before you and failed, it should be child's play for you. LOL!

Don't forget: the mini 5 pro wasn't aimed towards the American market. I think DJI threw in the towel regarding the US as a sustainable marketplace well before the launch of the mini 5 pro, with it's main sales aimed towards Europe instead - where, as of 1st January 2026, it will become mandatory to have all drones permanently broadcasting RID regardless of weight class: hence constant RID whatever battery provides the power.
