Where to fly in Gran Canary island?

I am leaving for a week in Gran Canary island in october.
i have read that theres restrictions there - yes i am aware of the drone
rules 120 meters hight, no urban areas, over people etc.. and NOT on the sandunes.
i can not see anyt thing else than the sandunes in maspalomas and the airport on "AIRMAP"
that is marked as restriction - anyone know where else i should not fly???

I flew on the beach near the Dunes in the south, forget the name of the area, Drones are not particularly welcomed in Spain and I did get stopped at security on the way out.

i have been to france with the drone just in the suitcase - should it be in hand luggage and not in suitcase??

The drone -(without its battery)- is ok in your case. All batteries must go as hand luggage.

I've just been to gran canaria with my p3a and i have to admit that i didint know about the restrictions. I've been flying it all over the island with no problem. In maspalomas sands too. Amazing videos.

It depends on the airline. Ive had my drone with me with all batteries discharged. Baterries in fire proof cases. No problem at all. I've used ryan air.
